LibKey Nomad
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that simplifies and streamlines access to the NU Libraries' subscription resources. Adding this extension to your browser enables one-click access to full text of articles from publisher pages, PubMed, Google, Wikipedia, and more, with no need to start at the library website. If direct access is not available, it automatically loads and fills out the Interlibrary Loan request form for you.
Installation
Installing LibKey Nomad is simple. Start with the link below to download the extension:
Follow this link and choose your browser to add the LibKey Nomad extension. Once installed, choose "Northwestern University" from the drop down list of institutions.

Make a Wireless Connection
Northwestern provides four wireless networks to access the Internet. Each network is unique to University affiliation and device type.
When Searching for Available Networks
Choose Northwestern to connect a computer, smartphone, or tablet. This secure network does not need VPN and requires a valid NetID to access. Learn more about the Northwestern wireless network.
Choose Device-Northwestern to connect a wireless device such as a game system, printer, AppleTV. This network does not have the same level of security as the Northwestern Wireless Network and should not be used to transmit sensitive information. When Traveling
Choose the eduroam network. Northwestern students, staff, and faculty can use their NetID credentials to access wireless network services while visiting eduroam-participating institutions. Learn more about eduroam.
When Visiting Northwestern
Choose the Guest-Northwestern network when visiting the University for short-term access to the wireless network to perform general Internet activities. This network does not have the same level of security as the Northwestern Wireless Network and should not be used to transmit sensitive information. Learn more about the Guest-Northwestern network.
