Follow these steps to connect Crossref with ORCID and add works:

Scroll to the Works section of your ORCID profile and click the Add button to the right.
From the drop-down menu, select Search & Link.
Scroll through the available link wizards to locate Crossref Metadata Search and click on it.
Confirm the connection by clicking on Authorize Access.
The ensuing Crossref page will now display the ORCID logo and the user's name in the top right corner of the page.
NOTE: Although adding Crossref as a trusted organization to your ORCID will not create a continuous feed between the two, you can authorize auto-updates from Crossref into your ORCID record. When a publisher adds a document to Crossref that you have authored and includes your ORCID iD, you will receive an inbox notification in ORCID asking you to grant permission to Crossref to update your ORCID record. Once you grant this permission, your record will automatically be updated whenever a publication associated with your ORCID iD is added to Crossref. You can always revoke this permission, just as you can revoke the access of any trusted organization.
