Linking an eRA Commons profile to an ORCID iD ensures that grant information and research outputs are properly connected and streamlined. Follow the steps below to connect these two accounts.
NOTES:
After creating or connecting an ORCID iD please close all tabs and windows of the browser to ensure a full logout from the system.
If you get an error from eRA Commons when attempting to link your ORCID iD, contact the eRA Service Desk. One common reason why this might not work is that you have two eRA Commons accounts, and the other account is already linked to the ORCID iD. The ORCID iD can be linked to only one Commons account. Also, to remove an ORCID, you must also contact the eRA Service Desk.
